{"id":964,"date":"2023-01-10T14:26:25","date_gmt":"2023-01-10T14:26:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/pathfinder.local\/?post_type=projects&#038;p=964"},"modified":"2023-09-07T09:11:00","modified_gmt":"2023-09-07T13:11:00","slug":"great","status":"publish","type":"projects","link":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/projects\/great\/","title":{"rendered":"Gender Roles, Equality, and Transformations (GREAT)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-2-xl-font-size\">In post-conflict northern Uganda, Pathfinder joined the Institute of Reproductive Health at Georgetown University and Save the Children&nbsp;to develop and test a package of innovative activities to transform gender norms, reduce gender-based violence, and promote gender equality and sexual and reproductive health among adolescents ages 10-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project Activities<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Created opportunities for young people to debate important topics\u2014the ways girls and boys interact, how they share power, and how it affects their health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Met the needs of young people at their various life stages\u2014from very young adolescents to married and parenting adolescents<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trained and mentored Uganda\u2019s Village Health Teams to respond to adolescents\u2019 urgent sexual and reproductive health needs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supported community leaders and parents to take part in trainings to end harmful gender norms and become GREAT champions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engaged young people using a community game, a serial radio drama, activities, and flipbooks, so they have fun while transforming their thinking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":965,"template":"","class_list":["post-964","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/964","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/965"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=964"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
