These services spanned: HIV and AIDS prevention, care, and treatment; contraception; maternal, neonatal, and child health; and services to prevent and treat malaria and tuberculosis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project Activities<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Built the capacity of health providers to offer quality HIV prevention and treatment services, ensure consistent supply of vital HIV medicines, and partner with communities to stop new HIV infections<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Integrated contraceptive services with HIV, maternal health, and cervical cancer services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focused on the unique sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents\u2014the largest generation of young people in history\u2014as they come of age<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Worked with both communities and health facilities to recognize pregnancy danger signs, ensuring access to skilled birth attendance and improving the quality of health care<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Challenged harmful gender norms by engaging women and girls, men and boys, and key influencers in examining the root causes and effects of harmful stereotypes and gender inequities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Partnered with communities to address the social determinants of health including livelihood strengthening; food security; and water, sanitation, and hygiene<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":958,"template":"","class_list":["post-957","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/957","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/958"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=957"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
