In total, it served approximately 25.7 million people (16% of the population).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project Activities<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supported the delivery of primary health care\u2014reproductive health, child health, behavior change communication, communicable disease control, and limited curative care\u2014through the nationwide Surjer Hashi or \u201cSmiling Sun\u201d network.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Made sure every woman has access to the information and health care\u2014from her home to the health facility\u2014to safely deliver her baby and care for herself and her children.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Built the capacity of local organizations to provide quality health services for poor and underserved populations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focused on the unique sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents\u2014the largest generation of young people in history\u2014as they come of age.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Led a consortium of partners, including CARE\/Bangladesh, Bangladesh Center for Communication Programs, Johns Hopkins University Center for Communication Programs, Social Marketing Company, Rapport Bangladesh, and Nari Uddug Kendra.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":898,"template":"","class_list":["post-897","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/897","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/898"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=897"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
