The IMPACT2-Liptako project takes a gender transformation approach to this challenge, one that examines, challenges, and changes rigid gender norms and power imbalances that ultimately lead to improved sexual and reproductive rights \u2013 with a focus on adolescent girls and young women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project Activities<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Established a gender-transformative approach \u2013 one that examines, challenges and changes rigid gender norms and power imbalances \u2013 to sexual and reproductive health and family planning in four regions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Focused on education for adolescents and young girls \u2013 including brides and unmarried girls \u2013 in the Dosso and Tillabery regions, through group discussions, community leaders, and plays and lectures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthened the management and referral systems of GBV survivors.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthened advocacy to promote education and access to sexual and reproductive health services for adolescents and unmarried children in schools and communities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implemented a national advocacy strategy that targets institutions including the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Secondary Education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":884,"template":"","class_list":["post-776","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/776","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/884"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=776"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
