The project&#8217;s cornerstone is to improve population health outcomes through stronger primary care systems, encouraging the uptake and continuation of voluntary family planning (FP) and maternal, newborn, and child health (MNCH) services. Our approach employs hybrid market development and health system strengthening to identify the root causes of poor community access to these services. It tests new and existing high-impact practices, working with the government to scale up those that are most effective. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beyond the project\u2019s focus on women and girls, BHF reaches men and youth so that they can knowledgably communicate about, demand, and use essential&nbsp;services. This includes working with health providers to test, refine, and scale up youth engagement and counseling models.
