In five countries in sub-Saharan Africa, we\u2019re investing in a unique cervical cancer prevention network to expand the successful single-visit approach and encourage cross-country learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-left\">Project Activities<\/h1>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator alignfull has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Create a Cervical Cancer Prevention Network, a system of country programs delivering critical prevention services, with Ethiopia serving as the hub<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Orient selected health professionals to the Network\u2019s model of the single-visit approach and train them in cervical cancer screening and treatment at one of five \u201ccenter of excellence\u201d university hospitals in Ethiopia<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct bilateral tours between countries to provide hands-on training and mentoring of skills, including visual inspection of the cervix with an acetic acid wash, cryotherapy, and Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":1005,"template":"","class_list":["post-1003","projects","type-projects","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects\/1003","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/projects"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/projects"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1005"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.pathfinder.org\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1003"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
